THE BAND
Extra Rise enters the scene bringing searing sinister tones and tight hardcore breakdowns. The band members surfaced from a wide range of musical genres. From post-hardcore acts like Pierce The Veil to modern metal acts like We Came as Romans and The Devil Wears Prada, you could always hear the resemblance when you hear their melodic chorus and neck breaking breakdowns (yes I said break twice).
The band's music mostly focus on the corruption of both politics and people in society, the events that bring up the internal conflict each of us face and how it binds us to a point where there's pain and suffering.
They recently announced the start of their official journey as a band by debuting their single "TRIUMPHUS" independently. Everything about the song were constructed by the band themselves with the distribution being an exception.
The band have performed in several underground events in their city such as chapters of Bacolod Underground Assault, Head Bangers Face Off and even on crowdfunding events like UTOD, an event to support the victims of a typhoon Philippines.
